FISHERY RULES

All well run fisheries need rules, not only to protect the fish and the environment they live in, but also to ensure the visiting angler has the best possible fishing experience during their stay.  Where large fish are concerned, certain rules are also necessary for the safety of the angler and the well being of the fish. Greenfield Valley Fishing & Cottage Resort rules have been put in place only for these key reasons. We don't want a burdensome set of rules that would take a week to read! So we have listed our simple rules below and designed to take less than a minute to read and understand!

GREENFIELD VALLEY FISHERY RULES

Fishing Times are from 7am until Dusk (managers definition!)

No Baits to be left in the water unattended

Barbless Hooks only
Fishery Hire Tackle only to be used*
No Live baiting
Catch & Release only (no fish to be taken)
Unhooking Mats to be used at all times

Big fish to be unhooked in the water and remain in the water
Leave your swims as you find them (No Litter to be left)

Special Baits from outside at managers discretion only

NO MORE THAN 5 ANGLERS PER DAY ON THE SPECIMEN LAKE (6 in 1 group)


*If tackle is lost or broken beyond repair the management reserve the right to charge for the replacement cost.
