Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok’s streets lies Bungsamran, the most unique and prolific fishing venue in Thailand.

Having had an amazing day's fishing yesterday with their 100kg+ Arapaima, Tom
and Francois had teamed up again and employed the services of "Boy" for another day. This time going for carp and
the larger Mekong Catfish. Now most of the guides generally except that Bungsamran is quite capable of throwing
up some spectacular back to back sessions, but even Boy was surprised with the outcome of Tom and Francois' two sessions.
Not being content with the Arapiama, Boy went on to help Tom hook up with this fantastic Siamese Carp weighing in at well
over the 50kg/110LB, the second large carp to come out of Bungsamran this month!
Not content with giving Tom a great Arapaima and
a great carp, the day was finally wound up with this nice looking Mekong.
In truth
the few catchreports with pictures shown here are just a couple of exciting days, in what was for Francois a near
month long fishing expedition in Thailand in which he caught many species of fish from various venues. Tom was fishing
for a few more days on Bungsamran also.
